It's obvious within the first inning or two whether or not the Pirates
intend to compete on any given night, and they're an excellent 1-run team.
In other words, I don't waste any time watching 4-3 losses!

Yeah, I'm at the point where if they are gonna lose I hope they get
blown out early so I can activate my mercy watching rule: 9 behind in
the first, 8 behind in the second, etc. It happens surprisingly often
and I can watch something more entertaining and less frustrating.
